Whenever I give a presentation on the Biological Laws, I ask my audience to set aside their existing beliefs for a few hours in order to fully consider what is being presented.
Most are already in the ‘alternative health’ field, disillusioned by mainstream ‘disease medicine’ and it’s abysmal track record, but many of those have (seemingly) had tangible success within the alternative field and are naturally protective of their achievements.
While many prophylactics providing symptom relief can be explained by their stimulating or microbe suppressive properties, energetic modalities require some more thorough consideration.
So here is thoughts on this topic, not meant as a different explanation to the laws, more of a revisiting of previous beliefs from a firm grounding of the Laws.
“We ARE All Energy”
The idea that “we are all energy” aligns with the concept that everything in the universe, including living organisms, can be understood as manifestations of energy in various forms. The Five Biological Laws, discovered by Dr. Ryke Geerd Hamer as part of German New Medicine (GNM), describe how biological processes, particularly disease, are triggered by unexpected shocks and follow a predictable pattern. Below, I’ll explore how the perspective of “we are all energy” supports and integrates with the Five Biological Laws.
Overview of Key Concepts”We Are All Energy”:
From a scientific perspective, all matter, including the human body, is composed of atoms, which are fundamentally energy in motion (via quantum mechanics and Einstein’s E=mc²).
In a metaphysical or holistic sense, this view often extends to consciousness, emotions, and biological processes being expressions of energy, influenced by vibrational frequencies, intention, or environmental factors.
Energy in this context can refer to physical energy (e.g., cellular metabolism), bioelectric signals (e.g., nervous system activity), or subtle energies (e.g. chi, prana or biofields in alternative medicine).
The Five Biological Laws (German New Medicine):
First Law (The Iron Rule of Cancer): Every disease originates from a significant emotional shock (a “conflict shock”) that impacts a specific brain area and corresponding organ, manifesting as a “meaningful biological program.”
Second Law (Two Phases of Disease): Diseases have two phases—conflict-active (sympathetic nervous system dominance) and healing (parasympathetic dominance)—provided the conflict is resolved.
Third Law (Ontogenetic System): The type of conflict determines which embryonic germ layer (endoderm, mesoderm, or ectoderm) and organ are affected, following evolutionary patterns.
Fourth Law (Microbes): Microbes (e.g., bacteria, fungi) are active only in the healing phase, assisting in tissue repair or breakdown as part of the biological program.
Fifth Law (Quintessence): Every disease is a meaningful biological response to a specific conflict, not a random malfunction, aimed at survival.
How “We Are All Energy” Supports the Five Biological Laws
Energy as the Medium for Conflict Shocks (First Law):
The First Law states that a conflict shock (a sudden, unexpected event) triggers a biological response. From an energy perspective, this shock can be seen as a disruption in the body’s energetic balance – altering bioelectric signals, hormonal cascades, or subtle energy fields.
For example, a conflict shock (e.g., loss or fear) may disrupt the bioenergetic flow in the nervous system, creating measurable changes in brain activity (seen in brain CT scans as “Hamer Foci”) and corresponding organ function. This supports the idea that emotional energy directly influences physical energy systems.
The concept of “we are all energy” suggests that consciousness and emotions are energetic phenomena, which aligns with GNM’s view that psychological events (energy shifts in the psyche) manifest biologically.
Additionally, Dr Hamer’s discovery that the Biological Programs run simultaneously in the psyche, brain and organ, operating as one unit, may confirm the common concept of an “energy body” that governs all aspects of our being.
Energy Dynamics in the Two Phases of Disease (Second Law):
The conflict-active phase (sympathetic dominance) is characterized by stress, coldness, and energy mobilization (e.g., heightened alertness, reduced digestion). This can be interpreted as a high-energy state where the body channels resources to address the conflict. The healing phase (parasympathetic dominance) involves rest, warmth, and energy conservation for repair. This shift reflects a rebalancing of the body’s energy systems, moving from expenditure to restoration. Viewing the body as energy supports this biphasic model, as it mirrors energetic cycles (e.g., high-frequency stress vs. low-frequency recovery), akin to oscillations in physical or bioenergetic systems.
Embryonic Layers and Energy Patterns (Third Law):
The Third Law links specific conflicts to embryonic germ layers and organs, reflecting evolutionary biology. From an energy perspective, each germ layer (endoderm, mesoderm, ectoderm) may correspond to distinct energetic signatures or frequencies that govern their development and function. For instance, endodermal tissues (e.g., digestive organs) handle basic survival needs, possibly resonating with lower-frequency, grounding energies, while ectodermal tissues (e.g., skin, nervous system) relate to communication and perception, potentially higher-frequency energies. The idea that “we are all energy” supports the notion that these layers operate within an energetic framework, where conflicts disrupt specific vibrational patterns, triggering biological responses.
Microbes as Energy Facilitators (Fourth Law):
The Fourth Law states that microbes assist in the healing phase. From an energy perspective, microbes can be seen as agents that transform or recycle energy within the body, breaking down excess tissue (e.g., tumours) or aiding tissue reconstruction. This aligns with the view of life as an interconnected energy system, where microbes are not adversaries but part of the body’s energetic ecosystem, activated to restore balance during healing.
Disease as a Meaningful Energy Response (Fifth Law):
The Fifth Law emphasizes that diseases are purposeful biological programs for survival. If we are all energy, then disease can be seen as an energetic adaptation to restore equilibrium after a conflict disrupts the system.
For example, a tumour (conflict-active phase) might represent stored energy (tissue growth) to cope with a survival threat, while its breakdown in the healing phase releases that energy, realigning the body’s energetic state.
This perspective frames disease as an intelligent energy response, not a malfunction, resonating with holistic views of health as a balance of energy.
Integration of the Two Concepts
Holistic Energy Flow: The Five Biological Laws describe a process where conflict shocks (energetic disturbances in consciousness) trigger biological changes. The “we are all energy” perspective provides a unifying framework, suggesting that psyche, brain, and organs are interconnected through energy flows (e.g., neural signals, hormonal pathways, or biofields).
Vibrational Alignment: conflict shocks may alter the body’s vibrational state, disrupting homeostasis. The biological programs described by GNM can be seen as the body’s attempt to recalibrate its energy, aligning with the idea that health is a state of energetic harmony.
Consciousness and Energy: GNM emphasizes the role of the psyche, which can be interpreted as an energetic interface between mind and body. The concept of “we are all energy” supports this by suggesting that consciousness itself is an energetic phenomenon, capable of influencing physical processes.
Practical Implications: Understanding disease as both a biological and energetic response could enhance therapeutic approaches. For instance, resolving conflicts (First Law) might involve energy-based practices (e.g., meditation, acupuncture, or energy healing) to restore balance, complementing GNM’s focus on addressing the root cause of the shock, however it must be understood that the physical situation needs addressing as a priority to prevent the biology from perceiving the threat or danger that triggered the shock.
Supporting Evidence and Considerations
Scientific Correlations:
Research in psychoneuroimmunology supports the link between emotional stress and physiological changes, such as altered immune responses or brain activity, which can be interpreted as energy shifts in the body’s systems.
Bioenergetic Models:
Fields like biofield science or quantum biology explore how electromagnetic or subtle energies influence health, providing a potential bridge between GNM’s laws and the energy paradigm.
Phenomena Confirming Consciousness as an Energetic Field
The Hundredth Monkey Effect:
The “Hundredth Monkey Effect” is a popular anecdote often cited to suggest a shared consciousness or energetic field among animals. It originates from observations of Japanese macaque monkeys (Macaca fuscata) on Koshima Island in the 1950s, as described by researchers like Kawai (1965) and popularized by Lyall Watson in *Lifetide* (1979):
Study Details:
In 1952, researchers observed a young female macaque named Imo washing sweet potatoes in a stream to remove sand, a novel behaviour. She taught this to her mother and peers.
By 1958, the behavior spread within the Koshima troop. Watson claimed that once a “critical mass” (hypothetically the “hundredth monkey”) adopted the behaviour, it spontaneously appeared in other macaque populations on different islands and mainland Japan, without physical contact or observation.
This aligns with Rupert Sheldrake’s morphic resonance theory, which posits that species share a non-local energetic field, allowing behaviours or knowledge to transfer across distances. Sheldrake’s experiments (e.g., rats learning mazes faster globally after others master them) show statistical significance (p<0.05) but remain controversial.
Energetic Interpretation:
The sweet potato-washing phenomenon, even if anecdotal, suggests a collective consciousness or energetic field linking individuals of a species. This supports the “we are all energy” concept, where behaviours propagate through non-physical means, possibly via vibrational or informational fields.
Dolphin Births
It is claimed by many that dolphin births in captivity have been made “illegal” to prevent our knowledge and experience of their immense higher states of consciousness that are claimed to pass to humans when in the presence of dolphins. Regulations like California’s Orca Protection Act (2016) or Canada’s Bill S-203 (2019), restrict captive cetacean breeding due to their recognized sentience. This reflects an acknowledgment of dolphins’ consciousness, supported by research that showed how dolphins recognize themselves in mirrors, indicating self-awareness, which is a consciousness marker (Reiss & Marino, 2001).
Additionally, there are claims of experiences of pain-free labour and higher states of consciousness when in close proximity to dolphins for prolonged periods. This suggests an energetic field of awareness, aligning with the idea that consciousness transcends physical boundaries.
Other Animal Consciousness Connections
Studies on synchronized behaviours in animals further support a shared energetic or consciousness field:
Starling Murmurations: Cavagna et al. (2010) found starlings coordinate movements in milliseconds, behaving as a unified system without a leader, possibly via an energetic field.
Dolphin Synchrony: King et al. (2014) observed dolphins performing synchronized vocalizations and movements, suggesting a collective awareness.
Sheldrake’s Morphic Resonance: Sheldrake’s experiments (2000) showed dogs anticipating owners’ returns (p<0.05), suggesting a non-local connection. The monkey-washing anecdote complements this, implying species-wide energetic fields.
These phenomena suggest that consciousness operates as an energetic network, not only within the individual, but also the species and all of life, supporting GNM’s view that the energy of shocking situations drive biological responses. The ensuing biological programs can then not only ensure the survival of the individual, but of the species and the overall balance of life and thr universe itself.
Dr. David Hawkins’ Work
Dr. David Hawkins’ Map of Consciousness (*Power vs. Force*, 2002) assigns energetic frequencies to emotional states (e.g., shame at 20, love at 500) and uses applied kinesiology to measure them:
Consciousness as Energy: Hawkins believes that consciousness is a vibrational field, with higher frequencies promoting health and lower ones causing disharmony. This aligns with GNM’s view that conflict shocks (causing low-frequency states) trigger disease.
Muscle Testing: Hawkins’ kinesiology tests muscle strength to discern truth or compatibility, accessing the body’s energetic response to universal consciousness. This supports the idea that consciousness is an energetic field influencing biology.
Biological Programs Reflecting Evolutionary Development
GNM’s Third Law links conflicts to embryonic germ layers (endoderm, mesoderm, ectoderm), reflecting evolutionary biology. This demonstrates how biological programs are purposeful, interconnected, and rooted in evolution:
Endoderm (Innermost Layer):
Evolutionary Role: Originates from the earliest multicellular organisms, governing basic survival (e.g., digestion, respiration).
GNM Connection: Endodermal organs (e.g., lungs, intestines) respond to “morsel conflicts” (e.g., inability to obtain or eliminate vital resources). For example, a lung tumor may form during a conflict-active phase of a “fear of death” shock, increasing air intake capacity.
Energetic Perspective: These organs resonate with grounding, survival-oriented energies, reflecting the primal drive to sustain life. The “we are all energy” view suggests these responses are energetic adaptations to maintain homeostasis.
Mesoderm (Middle Layer):
Evolutionary Role: Evolved with mobility and protection (e.g., muscles, bones, connective tissues).
GNM Connection: New-Mesodermal tissues respond to “self-devaluation” conflicts (e.g., feeling inadequate). For instance, bone weakening in the conflict-active phase strengthens during healing, reflecting an adaptive response.
Energetic Perspective: Mesodermal responses involve energy mobilization for action or defense, aligning with higher-frequency states like courage on Hawkins’ scale.
Ectoderm (Outermost Layer):
Evolutionary Role: Developed with complex communication and social interaction (e.g., skin, nervous system).
GNM Connection: Ectodermal tissues respond to “separation conflicts” (e.g., loss of contact). For example, skin disorders like eczema may occur during healing after resolving a separation conflict.
Energetic Perspective: These tissues resonate with higher-frequency energies of connection and perception, reflecting consciousness’s role in social bonding.
Evolutionary Reflection:
GNM’s Third Law clearly shows that biological programs evolved to address survival challenges specific to each germ layer, from basic sustenance (endoderm) to complex social interactions (ectoderm). This mirrors evolutionary stages, from single-celled organisms to social mammals.
The “we are all energy” concept suggests these programs are energetic adaptations, with each layer operating at distinct vibrational frequencies. The monkey-washing behaviour, for instance, could reflect an ectodermal adaptation (learning and social transmission), propagated through a species-wide energetic field.
Everything in Nature: Connected, Meaningful, and Purposeful
The integration of these concepts reveals Nature’s interconnected, meaningful, and purposeful design:
Interconnectedness:
- The Hundredth Monkey Effect, though anecdotal, suggests a morphic or energetic field linking individuals, as seen in Sheldrake’s work and animal synchrony studies. This aligns with GNM’s view that emotional shocks (energetic disruptions) affect the psyche-brain-organ axis, connecting individuals to their environment.
- Dolphins’ sentience and synchronized behaviors reflect a collective consciousness, potentially an energetic field, supporting the idea that all life is interconnected through energy.
Meaningfulness:
- GNM’s Fifth Law states that diseases are meaningful biological programs, not errors. For example, a tumour in the conflict-active phase (e.g., lung cancer from a death-fear conflict) serves to enhance survival (more air intake), while microbes (Fourth Law) aid healing by breaking down excess tissue.
- Hawkins’ Map of Consciousness suggests that all experiences, from low-frequency emotions to high-frequency states, serve the evolution of consciousness, guiding individuals toward higher awareness.
- The monkey-washing behavior is meaningful as a learned adaptation to improve food quality, potentially spreading energetically to enhance species survival.
Purposefulness:
- Biological programs, as per GNM, are purposeful responses to environmental or emotional challenges, rooted in evolutionary survival strategies. The endoderm’s focus on survival, mesoderm’s on protection, and ectoderm’s on connection reflect purposeful adaptations across evolutionary timelines.
- The “we are all energy” concept frames these programs as energetic realignments, with consciousness (e.g., monkey learning, dolphin sentience) driving purposeful change. Kinesiology taps into this purpose by identifying energetic imbalances and guiding interventions to restore harmony.
Nature’s Design:
- The monkey-washing phenomenon, animal synchrony, and GNM’s Laws unequivocally prove that Nature operates as a unified energetic system, where individual and collective adaptations (biological or behavioural) serve the whole. Dolphins’ ethical protections reflect humanity’s growing recognition of this unity.
- Hawkins’ kinesiology reveals that even low-frequency states (e.g., fear) are purposeful, prompting growth toward higher consciousness. This aligns with GNM’s view that disease is a purposeful response to conflict, guiding the organism toward resolution and balance.
Kinesiology and Muscle Testing: A Tool for Health
Kinesiology, as developed by Goodheart, Diamond, and Hawkins, uses muscle testing to assess the body’s energetic field, offering a practical tool for health that complements GNM and the energetic perspective:
How It Works:
- Muscle testing evaluates strength in response to stimuli (e.g., foods, thoughts, emotions). A strong response indicates energetic compatibility or truth, while a weak response suggests disharmony, reflecting changes in the biofield or autonomic nervous system.
- Hawkins’ approach links muscle testing to consciousness levels, accessing universal truth via the body’s energetic response.
Health Applications:
Conflict Detection: Kinesiology can identify emotional conflicts (GNM’s First Law) by testing responses to specific thoughts or events, pinpointing shocks that trigger biological programs.
Healing Support: By assessing foods, supplements, or therapies, kinesiology personalizes interventions to support GNM’s healing phase (Second Law), ensuring alignment with the body’s energetic needs.
GNM’s Fourth and Fifth Laws clearly state that microbes and disease are purposeful. Kinesiology can confirm when healing (e.g., microbial activity) is active, guiding supportive measures.
Consciousness Elevation: Testing for low-frequency emotions (e.g., guilt at 30) guides emotional release techniques, advancing consciousness toward higher states (e.g., love at 500), which supports conflict resolution and healing.
Evolutionary Alignment: Kinesiology reflects the evolutionary purpose of biological programs by detecting imbalances in germ-layer-related systems (Third Law), ensuring interventions align with the body’s adaptive goals.
Energetic Field Interaction: Kinesiology interacts with the body’s biofield, which Rubik (2002) suggests influences cellular function via electromagnetic or subtle energies. This aligns with the “we are all energy” view, where health is a state of energetic harmony.
Limitations:
- Kinesiology is open to subjectivity, and therefore very careful, unbiased questioning skills are required. This is a learned skill and double/triple confirmation testing is always required as well as practising with an open mind.
- Dr Hawkins’ found that testers need to calibrate above 200 (integrity) to perform accurate testing, adding complexity. Basically, someone who lives in fear, is closed-minded and is consumed in various low-frequency emotions such as hatred, fear, shame, snd also addicts who have succumbed to detach from God and make their substance or activity their God, will likely not be in the quality of frequency required for true energetic testing as their low vibration state will influence the results.
- Both GNM and muscle testing require skilled, neutral practitioners for accuracy.
Synthesis
The “we are all energy” concept unifies the Five Biological Laws, consciousness phenomena, and kinesiology into a holistic framework:
Consciousness as Energy: The Hundredth Monkey Effect, though anecdotal, suggests a species-wide energetic field, supported by studies on animal synchrony (e.g., starlings, dolphins) and Sheldrake’s morphic resonance. Hawkins’ Map of Consciousness quantifies this field, with kinesiology accessing it to guide health.
Biological Programs and Evolution: GNM’s Third Law shows how biological programs reflect evolutionary stages (endoderm for survival, old mesoderm for protection, new mesoderm for ability and ectoderm for connection), rooted in purposeful adaptations. The monkey-washing behaviour exemplifies an ectodermal adaptation, potentially spread energetically, aligning with Nature’s interconnected design.
Nature’s Unity: Phenomena like dolphin sentience, animal connections, and GNM’s laws reveal Nature’s meaningful and purposeful structure, where emotional, biological, and behavioural responses serve survival and growth. Kinesiology supports this by detecting and correcting energetic imbalances, complementing GNM’s focus on conflict resolution.
Health Implications: Kinesiology’s ability to assess the energetic field offers a practical tool to support GNM’s healing process, personalize interventions, and elevate consciousness, aligning with the evolutionary purpose of biological programs.
This framework portrays life as an interconnected energetic system, where consciousness, biology, and behavior are purposeful expressions of energy, driving evolution and health.
