A Multitalented Medical Genius
——————————

Dr. Ryke Geerd Hamer was a remarkable individual whose life and work have had a profound impact on the field of medicine. Born and raised in the picturesque region of North Rhein Westphalia, Germany, Dr. Hamer’s upbringing instilled in him a deep appreciation for the natural world, which would later shape the foundation of his groundbreaking discoveries.

From a young age, Dr. Hamer possessed an insatiable thirst for knowledge, excelling in a wide range of disciplines. He completed his master’s degree in Theology at the age of 22 and went on to earn a degree in Radiology at 24, before receiving his medical license at the age of 26. Dr. Hamer was a true Renaissance man, fluent in Sanskrit, Ancient German, Greek, and Latin, and also a talented musician, composer, and chess player.

The Tragedy that Inspired a Medical Revolution
———————————————-

Dr. Hamer’s life took a tragic turn in 1978 when his son, Dirk, was accidentally shot and killed. This devastating loss profoundly impacted Dr. Hamer.  Shortly after Dirk’s passing, Dr. Hamer was diagnosed with testicular cancer, leading him to question the traditional understanding of cancer and disease. Although he had surgery to remove the tumour, he refused further treatments with conventional therapies.

Through his own personal experience and extensive research, Dr. Hamer came to the realization that his cancer was a biological response to the unexpected and significant shock of losing his son. This groundbreaking insight formed the foundation of his life’s work, which he would eventually call the “Germanic New Medicine” (GNM).

Uncovering the Biological Laws of Disease
—————————————–

As the head internist at the cancer clinic of the University of Munich, Dr. Hamer had the opportunity to investigate the medical histories of his patients. He found that, like him, they had all experienced a significant, unexpected biological shock prior to the onset of their symptoms. By analyzing brain scans and medical records, Dr. Hamer was able to correlate specific types of “conflict experiences” with corresponding symptoms and areas of the brain.

In 1981, Dr. Hamer submitted his findings as a postdoctoral thesis to the University of Tübingen, but to his astonishment, the university committee rejected his work and refused to evaluate his research, which included the records of 200 cases. Undeterred, Dr. Hamer continued his research, publishing his groundbreaking book “Cancer, sickness of the soul” in 1984.

The Struggle for Recognition
—————————-

Despite the overwhelming evidence supporting his discoveries, Dr. Hamer faced relentless opposition from the medical establishment and lost his job. As he had earnings from inventions of several medical devices such as the Hamer Scalpel (a non-traumatic scalpel), he continued to see patients without charge at a private clinic.

In 1986, he lost his medical license for refusing to renounce his findings, and over the following years, he was subjected to numerous attempts to have him declared insane and imprisoned.

Dr. Hamer’s collaborators and patients tirelessly sought to have his work verified, with the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Vienna recognizing the authenticity of his discoveries in 1998, though they never published his findings. In 2004, despite the official confirmation of his work, Dr. Hamer was charged and found responsible for the deaths of French citizens, even though he had never met any of them in person.

A Lifelong Dedication to Healing
——————————–

Undeterred by the relentless attacks on his character and work, Dr. Hamer continued to fight for the recognition of the GNM. In 2007, he moved to Norway, hoping to continue his life’s work in peace, but once again, his appeals fell on deaf ears. Undaunted, he founded the “Sandefjord University for the GNM, Natural Art and Lifestyle” in 2009, only to have it closed by the government under the pretext that it was “run as a company”.

In the final years of his life, Dr. Hamer focused on the “Archaic Melody,” a new challenge in the GNM research field, while never ceasing to demand the official recognition and application of his discoveries. Tragically, Dr. Hamer passed away in 2017, following a stroke, leaving behind an immense legacy and an unfulfilled dream of seeing his life’s work fully embraced by the medical community.

The Lasting Impact of Dr. Hamer’s Discoveries
———————————————

Dr. Ryke Geerd Hamer’s life and work have left an indelible mark on the field of medicine. His groundbreaking discoveries, known as the Germanic New Medicine, have the potential to revolutionize our understanding of disease and the human body’s innate ability to heal. Despite the relentless opposition he faced, Dr. Hamer’s unwavering dedication to uncovering the biological laws of disease has paved the way for a more holistic and compassionate approach to healthcare.

As the world continues to grapple with the limitations of conventional medicine, the work of Dr. Hamer stands as a testament to the power of scientific inquiry, critical thinking, and a steadfast commitment to the well-being of humanity. Though he may no longer be with us, Dr. Hamer’s legacy lives on, inspiring a new generation of medical professionals and researchers to challenge the status quo and seek a deeper understanding of the human condition.
