CLIENT: Female, right-handed, age early 30s
CONFLICT: separation conflict
Conflict Active – possible short term memory loss, reduced sensitivity of skin (may go unnoticed); Healing Phase – itchy skin
SYMPTOMS: itchy skin on face, back of neck and forearms appears from wearing clothing; items in her wardrobe that could be worn at first suddenly without warning began itching her (about 50% of the clothing itched right after being washed and dried); she had to throw out all of her clothing and continued to have to buy new clothing which eventually also started itching her; the itching was so intense that she couldn’t wear the clothing that randomly began itching her again; the symptom lasted for 7 years
CURRENT TREATMENT: using light vinegar mist in case of dust mite, which soothed itching
When did this begin?
In the summer of 2013 (when visiting her parents for the summer and having to sleep in her sister’s bed one night).
Finding the original conflict (the dhs) can fully resolve a conflict, neutralising all tracks. This was done using muscle testing (surrogate kinesiology- as the client was in a different country).
The client felt she needed something else to help her fully comprehend this so we used the emotion code & body code. We determined that there was emotional blockage in the feeling of vulnerability (of sleeping in her sister’s bed and being worried her sister would walk in, yell and ask her why she was sleeping there). This was preventing full resolution, and so we performed an emotional release technique.
We also tested an energetic technique called temporal tapping that would help in affirming that she was now safe and her sister is no longer a threat. This was carried out at the time and given as daily homework along with a positive affirmation and a let go statement (both of which were also muscle tested for).
Result:
The session included muscle testing to identify the dhs (original conflict) as well as doing emotion code & body code followed by tapping specifically for the itching, as it relates to the original conflict.
The itching was downgraded by about 60% after the first session!
However, ongoing she experienced some very light itching that disappeared within an hour. This showed that the emotional release and tapping had downgraded the conflict significantly. This means that a resolution should now be so much easier for her to let go of. I advised that she continue with the temporal tapping to help solidify the new belief, until the subconscious is ready to resolve it completely.
A week later, after a stressful fertility treatment discussion with a doctor, there was an outbreak of itching. As I was unable to take clients at the time, I recommended the Tell-a-Story technique using EFT, which can neutralise any stressors of a past event. While this may not resolve the original conflict, in my clinical experience it can be invaluable in neutralising the emotional charge of a track, rendering the track non-reactive. This didn’t make a difference after the first attempt, but I advised she continued as it can take several sessions.
Everything settled down, and apart from a small flare up a couple of months later, the issue now seems to have completely resolved.
MY COMMENTS:
I feel that this is a great example of how energetic techniques such as kinesiology and tapping can work so well alongside the knowledge of the Biological Laws, and when practised with the Laws as a foundation.
Brief Flare ups after resolution of a chronic condition: It is important that if an issue appears to go away, then reappears a while later, not to devalue on this and do not allow the fear and stress of a belief that “this is all going to come back now” to take over. Rather than feel disheartened, think of this as an ‘oops – you missed a spot!’ – remind yourself that this conflict is resolved, can no longer happen again, and briefly return to any modality (in this case the tapping) that helped initially.
