Collection of Information

This website collects personal information in order to provide goods and services to my clients and site visitors. I may obtain this information from a variety of sources:

· Directly from applications, questionnaires and other materials submitted to me by clients;
· From browsing activity on this website;
· From orders placed on this website;
· From newsletter subscriptions created through this website;
· From clickthru activity on this website

As per GDPR requirements, all optional (non-essential) offers of additional communication or collection of information are unselected by default, and must be specifically selected to be opted-in at time of submission. These options will have sufficient information clearly displayed as to their purpose. Additionally, these optional ‘subscriptions’ can be deselected at any time through links supplied.

Example

Visitors need to specifically request to subscribe to my newsletters. This functions needs to be explicitly chosen and confirmed. At any point in the future, the visitor is able to follow the links and alter their preferences or completely unsubscribe from my newsletters. The only emails sent are essential for the functionality of the email software. e.g. An email is sent when someone enters their details to subscribe. They need to click a link in that email to prove that they own that email account to complete the subscription process, at which point, they will get another email containing confirmation plus links to amend these settings or unsubscribe in the future. In the event that someone unsubscribes, historical transactions records are kept for the purpose of evidence of this process. (Also see Opt-in/Opt-Out Rights Section below)
